Everything you need to know about the Snapmaker Artisan 3-in-1 3D printer.

Surprisingly Artisan 3D printer with 2 extruders will be the first self-funded project on the Snapmaker lineup. The previous models, Snapmaker original and Snapmaker 2.0, were funded and part of the Kickstarter campaign.

Snapmaker Artisan 3-in-1 3D printer has all the official marks of a Snapmaker 3-in-1 3D printer. It has an all-metal body, a Snapmaker signature design, and features quick-swappable tool heads and platforms that allow users to quickly shift between 3D printing, laser engraving, and cutting or CNC carving. Basically, the idea is that makers can use different making methods to create complex objects by combining the technologies.

The Artisan 3D printer with 2 extruders has come to change the game. New features have been added to it, making it stronger than the previous Snapmaker models. In addition, it has a larger work area of 400*400*400 mm, allowing makers to create big or multiple objects as they please.

Snapmaker has stepped up a notch this time round; they have equipped the artisan 3-in-1 3D printer with dual extruders. This feature is essential for makers because they can now 3D print objects using different filaments of different colors simultaneously. Depending on the type of projects you intend to 3D print, generally, a 3D printer with 2 extruders is essential and opens up various possibilities for exciting projects that wouldn't be possible with a single extruder 3d printer.

For the Artisan 3-in-1 3D printer, Snapmaker has increased the laser power to 10w. This laser module can engrave at a speed of as high as 6000 mm/min while cutting through wood as thick as 8 mm in a single pass. This cutting speed is technically up to 8 times that of the 1.6W laser module. It is also equipped with a 200W CNC module that further improves the CNC performance while keeping the ER11 collet, customized clamp sets, and dust-proof designs that are highly acclaimed by users, offering you a new desktop CNC experience.

Finally, the Artisan 3D printer with 2 extruders is compatible with most Snapmaker modules and add-ons, including the Rotary module, the CAN hub, and the air purifier. For this module, the laser-free enclosure is inclusive upon purchase.
